He has over 300 hours of Post Graduate Training focusing on Hand Therapy, Shoulder Rehabilitation, Myofacial Release, The McKenzie Institute and Ergonomics.
After graduating in 1997, he found there were no full-time Occupational Therapist in Philadelphia, “they had to go out of town to receive any type of therapy or just have none at all. My goal was to come home and increase awareness at the public level and also within the medical community. Today there are at least 5 Occupational Therapist and 15-20 Physical Therapist in various settings.” Working at the Hospital in Philadelphia from 1998-2006, Terry decided he would open VIP Rehab in October 2006, which employs not only an Occupational Therapist, but a Physical Therapist and several part-time Physical Therapist Assistants.
Terry has been a guest lecturer at the University of Mississippi Medical Center on Myofascial Release, Industrial Rehab, Shoulder Rehab and the use of Thermal and Electric Modalities.
